Visa application updates

Hello,

I've just submitted my application to switch from Tier 2 to Tier 4 in the UK under the priority service and have sent my documents and enrolled my biomterics.

Would I be updated on the progress of my application (such as the application being received by HO and final outcome) by post or email? When completing my application, I opted to receive mail at an alternative address that I am not currently at as I will only be due to move there in a week's time. I was just wondering as if any letters come in the post, I won't know how far along my application will be at or if I would be required to provide further documents if it comes to it.

You get any correspondence from HO by post as far as I am aware.
