Child Tax Credit

Hi,
I am a ILR holder, even my family holds the ILR.
Are we eligible for Child Tax credit. Does it cause any issues in our Citizenship.

When my wife approached a recruiting agency for a Job(first time), they started convincing her to get a Child Tax credit. They told who are staying in UK are eligible for Child Tax Credit.

Please suggest.

If you both hold ILR you can claim benefits that you qualify for.

No effect on citizenship.
