ILR

Post by Nicolemolloy » Tue Aug 21, 2018 11:58 am

Hi Please could you help I have a few questions.

First question:
I am currently on Maternity leave which I will therefore not qualify for the financial requirements however before employed I did qualify. I do not want to go back to my job so I wouldn't be able to say I am employed is this correct can I use my maternity pay as part of a financil income?. My husband is self employed and does make the requirements for us I am unsure how we do the application as he is only a year in self employment.

Second question:
If I entered the uk on my first 2.5 year visa on the 23 July do I take 5 years and then -28 I can then apply or do I have to use my last visa expiry date - 28 days.

Third Question:
We had a child here in the UK which he holds a british passport therefore I don't have to add him as a dependant is that correct?

Thanks Nicole

Date you entered the UK is the start of your 5 years qualifying period and the one you use.

No but you do need to mention the child in the form where/if asked.
