Tier 2 ICT dependent will be cancelled if Tier 2G visa rejected?

Hi,

My wife is currently in Tier 2 ICT dependent in UK and her employer is willing to sponsor her. She got the RCOS also and she is planning to file Tier 2 General visa application from India shortly.

My question is in worst case if her Tier 2 general application gets rejected or refused, can she still travel back to uk with her previously Tier 2 ICT dependent.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If tier 2 general is refused it will not affect her ICT dependent visa and it won't be cancelled.

I am assuming you mean if Tier 2 general visa is rejected or refused in both cases my wife would still be having her ICT dependent visa.

Can you please share any official URL/ statement which I can read more about it.

Is that not what I said.

I have not seen any 'official' URL or statement. It is logic and common sense and many members posting about their experience. Why would HO cancel a valid dependent visa if a main Tier 2 general is not granted!! They are completely separate and unrelated visas.
