travelling with wife with indian passport

Hello I am after some advice please.

I am a british citizen with british passport living in UK but my wife is indian with indian passport living in UK. If we want to travel europe what is the process for her and how long does it take to obtain that particular visa. Someone mentioned schengen visa but I have little detail on this.

She applies for a Schengen visa at the relevant countries authority. You don't state where you want to go and each country tends to have slightly different requirements.

Thanks for the response. Is it just 1 single.schengen visa i apply for or individual.schengen for each country. Looking at croatia and switerzland.
