Is Police registration required for Tier 4 child student visa? Student is for year 9 school from India coming to UK.

Nothing is clearly mentioned on visa vignette or letter from home office. Yet to receive BRP. Please let me know urgently.

Whether a non-visitor visa has a condition to register with the police depends on the visa holder's nationality, not on the type of visa.

Appendix 2 of the immigration rules lists the nationalities who are subject to the police registration condition when coming to the UK for more than six months:

You can see for yourself. Open the Appendix I linked to above, and check whether Indian nationals are listed.
