Tier 2 Dependent

Post by Iqbalsalman » Wed Aug 29, 2018 3:23 am

Hello everyone....

It might be very basic for people here but I need to know few things

I am basically from India and I came to Uk on Tier 2 visa in June 2015, we ( Me, my wife and daughter who was around 5 months old at that time) applied from UAE in May 2015 and all of us got 1 year Tier 2 visa in the same month.... I travelled to UK in June 2015 but my family ( wife and daughter) travelled to India. My family ( wife and daughter) joined me in April 2016 but they stayed in Uk for 3 months only and during that time we got a new Tier 2 visa for 3 years..... we all have to travel back home in July 2016, I came back to uk after 1 month but because of some circumstances my family ( my wife and daughter) have to stay there, they have BRP and are on Tier 2 dependent visa is upto June 2019. They are planning to travel in September 2018, I just want to know will this time will be included in there application when applying for ILR...... help will be highly appreciated

They don't qualify for ILR with you. Their clock starts from April 2016 and will only qualify for ILR in 2021.

Also, ILR requires residence in the UK and she will have to provide evidence of cohabitation in the UK.
