Vignette transfer

I had applied for tier 2 General visa. It has been granted but the vignette is valid till 10th September until which I should travel to UK and collect my BRP. But due to the short time and some unfinished work I can't travel before end of October or early November. Please guide me what to do.

You will need to apply for a visa vignette which will be another 30 days validity. You should have stated when you applied that you have a date of travel in October. Presumably your sponsor is ok with you joining later and your CoS reflects this??

When do I have to apply for the vignette transfer after 10 th September or within 10 th September. Also the 30 day validity extension is counted from the date of expiry of the vignette or from the grant of new vignette.

Is there any provision to state the date of travel during the application of vignette transfer.

Yes I have confirmed with my UK employer regarding my joining in November and they are OK with it.

When shall I initiate the vignette transfer after the validity gets over or before the validity ends.

How much time does the process take

My vignette validity expires on 5th September and can I extend it till October end.

Kindly advice asap.

I am also in the same situation as you are. Due to some changes in the circumstances, I may not be able to travel to UK within the date of entry clearance. Have you already applied for an extension on your visa?

Hi drfriend,
Please let me know if you have any further update on this. My dependents visa will expire on 15 Sept and they will not be able to travel before that. Please let me know if we can apply for Vignette transfer after Visa expiry that is some time around month of October and what all supporting documents are needed for the same.
