Ideas about Comprehensive insurance

Post by Phone » Sat Sep 01, 2018 10:48 pm

Hello..

My wife will be leaving my uncle company, she will stop working... as we do not have any money issue at all...

I want to know, how she will exercise her treaty rights,, I heard about self sufficient, and commerhinsive insurance,, can some body advise me on this, like which company are accapted by ukba for eea national for commerhinsive insurance, what is the procedure,, how much every year we have to pay, she will stop her job by oct 2018..
Please guide me on this.

Also, she worked from 2012-2015 non stop, but from june 2015 june, 2016' august she not worked, can she get that covered by taking insurance, for those missed period..

I have non eea permit until march 2020, my plan is to get permant residency, regardless of how much money I have to pay....

Thank you..

E.g. Bupa.

How would she get retrospective insurance?

There are only two ways of making the period June 2015 to August 2016 count for acquiring 'permanent' residence rights in the UK. The first is to find that she did have CSI - which is impossible if she didn't. The other is to overwhelm the UK government with residence card applications. And that effectively is what is happening. To be legal, you need CSI from when your wife stops working until you get 'pre-settled status' - probably early next year.

Of course, it's anyone's guess as to what happens if the UK does remain in the EEA - will those who have already been granted pre-settled status remain on a 5-year track (and some will start near the end of the track) to ILR regardless of anyone exercising treaty rights?
