Tier 2 General to ILR

Post by Siva_1 » Sun Sep 09, 2018 6:45 pm

Hi,

I am applying for an ILR in December 2018 and would to check few things here.

I moved to UK in 2010 on student visa (27/08/2010 to 27/01/2012), after my graduation I switched to Tier 1 (Post Study Work) which was from 04/02/2012 to 04/02/2014.

1. My first Tier 2 general work visa was from 11/01/2014 to 15/01/2017 following Tier 2 Extension (09/12/2018 to 11/01/2020), can I apply FOR ILR on 14/12/2018?

2. For Online application form, following are the check list

2.1. Two Passport size photos
2.2. Original Passport
2.3. Life in UK test
2.4. Letter from employer regarding absences during the 5 year period.
2.5. English Language degree certificate
*2.6. Evidence of <Applicant Name> immigration status in UK
2.7. Most recent pay slip and bank statements covering last 3 months
2.8. Letter from sponsor saying "will be required in this role for the foreseable future".
2.9. For the period before I were granted leave as a Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that I met the
relevant requirements of the immigration rules.
2.10. Current Biometric Residence Permit.

Here, the problem is what documents do I've to submit for the check list 2.6?

Any advise on this would be much appreciated.

Regards
Siva

Hi CR001,

I thought the same but it's already mentioned under checklist 2.10 which is why I got confused.

Check List 2.6, 2.9, 2.10 in which 2.9, 2.10 converse all the current and past immigration details.
