Well i am in same situation as you but what i have been advised get it change once you naturalised because if you would do now it will cost you more as you have get it change on brp as well which will cost you nearly 300 just to get change brp plus solicitor deed poll and Pakistani nic and passport fees is separate so round about you roughly will be spending nearly 1000 pounds and so...so wait untill you naturalisedZain Ali wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 10:21 pmHey Guys I have question that needs to be answered as I am very curious. I came from Pakistan like 8 years ago and now finally I have been granted Leave to Remain for 30 month period but by 2020 November I will be completing my 10 years and applying for ILR. I wanted to change my name but I dont know how it will work out like If I would be a British citizen then I could have easily changed it. So can you tell me how to do it if your not a British citizen and is it worth to do it now or should I wait until I get my citizenship. Because I know that I will have to send my BRP to get the name change and then go to a Pakistani embassy and get name change there and then inform the home office and will this affect my application for ILR and citizenship if I do this now or should i wait. Lastly how much will it cost me to do it now? what should i do please help?
Thanks

Lastly where do I go like in the Nadra section or Passport section like what do I say to them to get my name change because you know how the embassy is like they give no attention. Thnaks for the reply please answers theses questions as well.Plzilr wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 10:35 pmSo far i know changing name in Pakistan is quite hafty and long process there as you have to first get it change onto your matric certificate then will have to go foreign office to attest then will have to publish in news paper for changing of name then get it change your nic and then passport so better get it here done all you need to go solicitor and get it dine through deed poll then take this deed to Pakistan embassy and get your new nic done and then passport after...Zain Ali wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 10:21 pm

Or you can book your appointment online for embassy and rest of the nadra department will guide you from there when you tell them you there for changing of nameZain Ali wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 11:16 pmYes I was asking here so basically I got to solicitor and then get a deed poll and take it to the Pakistani embassy but will it only cost me the price of nic and passport or any other charges for getting name changed.
