That route also has a high refusal rate and often only successful through appeal (if you get it) or JR. It is a very abused route using FLR(FP).

Your spouse could also apply for Tier 2 General or student visa and you switch to dependent visa.

Thank you CR001.

If I am to go on a student visa, can I get it while I’m in the U.K.? Also, will my spouse be able to continue his work(he’s in long term tier 2 Oct)

See link below for the main ICT visa holder to switch (your posts are confusing as you started stating you are the ICT main visa holder and now it sounds like you are the dependent visa holder). Pleas be consistent if you expect valuable and worthwhile advise.

https://www.gov.uk/tier-4-general-visa/ ... -this-visa

An ICT dependent will need to switch to Tier 4 dependent at some point as the ICT dependent visa will likely become invalid once the main ICT visa switches to Tier 4.

i think the main intention of limiting to 9 years is to restrict people from settling otherwise
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.
