No National Insurance Number for Tier 2 dependent

Post by Cymjay » Fri Sep 14, 2018 5:26 pm

Hi all,

Got both my BRP and my spouse's BRP.

My BRP had the NIN on the back bu my spouse's didn't on her Tier 2 dependent.

We have both paid IHS and gotten IHS reference numbers.

What is the next step?

I've tried calling to apply for a NIN but they never answer.

Note that IHS is NOT national insurance number. IHS is for NHS/medical.

She will have to apply for one through the Job Centre or DWP.
