My brother received a letter a week ago indicating that his second extension has been approved. It was approved pretty quickly.
However, his BRP has still not been issued. According to DX courier, they have nothing for him.
The letter says that he should wait for 7/10 working days, but looking at the timelines, it seems that most applicants received their BRPs within a day or so of their approval letters.
He did call the HO helpline but they said that they cannot comment on individual cases and can only offer general advice.
Would it be advisable to write to the case worker at the Sheffield PO Box?
I've seen some other posts of people who reported the issue of not receiving their cards online, but just received a generic reply saying the caseworker will contact them, which didn't happen, etc.
I'm not sure what the best course of action would be in this case for him.
