Tier 2 ICT cooling period

Post by Sydal123 » Sat Sep 22, 2018 2:50 pm

Hello all,

I need advice on my cooling off period.

I left uk on 19 Oct 2017(I have tickets, boarding pass and emigration stamp to prove this), but my UK employment ended on 4th November 2017. I was considered to be on leave from 19 Oct to 4 Nov. I joined office back in india from 6 November 2017.

My Tier 2 ICT visa expired on 10 November 2017. I am not sure about the date when my employer might have informed the home office about me leaving UK.

My question is what date will my cooling period start. 19 Oct or 5 Nov or 10 Nov.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Syd

It starts from the date you LEFT the UK.

Thank you for the quick response CR001.

Will that be irrespective of when my employer informed home office?

Regards,
Syd

Yes, it is the date you left the UK that starts the clock.
