dependent reapply when main applicant switch employer

Me & my friends in similar situation have this question:
- Does Tier 2 general dependent has to reapply for visa when Tier 2 General main applicant will be switching employer?

We checked forum archives but there are conflicting information. Also there are some links that suggests dependents need not reapply but those doesn’t look very reliable.

Is there any policy document or section that can confirm this?

No you do not. Obviously also depends on when their visa expire.
