online application only for MN1 form

Hi, I have got two questions ?

I used MN1 form to register my children's nationality back on 09 August so I sent in my BRP. But I haven't heard back from them so I still don't have my BRP and can't travel. Is there anyway I can get my BRP back ?

My second question is that do I need to wait until my children's registration certificate before I can apply for their passports ?

You will likely need to wait. You should have used the council checking service (NDRS) to photocopy and certify your originals to send to HO if you had travel plans.

You need to wait for the certificate as the passport form asks specifically for the certificate number.

thank you so much for your reply. Yes I should have used NDRS. My travel plan is in November but I begin to get panicked now as it's already been a while.

Is there anyway I can check the status of my application ? I know I can check with them after six months but that's too long...
