Applying for ILR on 10 years in UK

Post by Qasim ahmed » Thu Sep 27, 2018 9:20 pm

Hello there,
I came from Pakistan in this country on 16th September 2010. Got my family here (wife and son) in Nov 2012 as my dependents. My second son was born in 2015 in UK. Presently I am on TIER 1 Entrepreneur VISA and just got extension last month, which is valid till 20th August 2020.
My TWO queries are as under:

1:Since my present VISA is till 20th August 2020 and my 10 years are completed on 16th September 2020, do i qualify for ILR application on 10 years route while availing relaxation of applying 28 days before competion of exact 10 years. If I apply on 18th of August 2020 just two days before expiry of present VISA, I am qualifying to avail 28 days relaxation before 10 years completion. Please advice

2: If my ILR application is considerred on 10 years is APPROVED, what VISA will be provided to my family as they came here in October 2012. Will they also get the ILR.

Would really appreciate a viable advice.

Many thanks,

Qasim Ahmed

1) Yes, you can apply for ILR before 20th August 2020.
2) If you get your ILR based on 10 years, your family has to apply for FLR (FP), which will be granted for 2.5 years. They will have to renew once again for 2.5 years before they can apply for their ILR

Hi there,
In reference to my query of applying for ILR on 10 years route, I have further question:
I am presently on route of Tier 1 Entrepreneur and recently got an extension and intending to avail 10 years route in Aug 2020 but still confused weather should I avail 5 year Tier 1 route and apply for ILR next year or should I wait till Aug 2020 to use 10 years toute. I am aware of required technicalities for ILR based on 5 years TIER1 route of 2 full time employees for 12 months and satisfactory business turn over proof. And I need to search appropriate persons to be consider as an employee, which im still looking for.

what i need to know is:

1:Since I have three dependents (Wife & two kids),who are conteniously here since Nov 2012,Do I have any benifit to consider from their perspective if I opt 5 Years ILR route.

2: If I consider 10 years route for ILR, what benefits I can have and what will happen with my dependents' VISA as they will be conteniously here from 08 years in 2020.

Really need some advice so that I may initiate the routeON TIME.

Thanks for your Help.

Regards,
