ILR - SET(O) form query...

Post by sk17aaa » Wed Oct 03, 2018 10:57 am

Hello,

I'm applying for ILR thru Tier 2 - General Route. I got my initial Tier 2 on 26-Nov-2013.

Now that I'm close to 5 years , I have booked an appointment on 10-Nov-2018.

I went thru my filled in application and think I made an error but not sure. Thought I will check with experts and users here.

There is a question about "Passport Issuing Authority". I renewed my passport HCI London. so I entered it as "London". Is it ok or Is it possible to update the online form now that I have made the payment?

Pls advise.

thx

It is you birth Country authority, Indian High commission for example.

Correct it in pen by hand on the print out.

Hello CR001,

sorry to bother you with too many question.

I just spotted another mistake in my ILR SET(O) form.

There is a question "Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth?" and I have answered "No" :-(

I read another thread in this forum with a similar question where you have advised to update the printout form.

I created a another user (with different email) and filled in the online ILR SET(O) application just to check, if there are another question by answering "Yes". And the system asks for the following details:

Country you lived in
Date you lived there from
Date you lived there to
Reason

Is it ok to enter the details in a separate sheet, since details may not fit in the space available in the printout form?

Pls advise

Thanks & Regards,
