You can apply 28 days before clocking 5 years and not 28 days before your visa expires (in this case). So as it stands, you can apply as you have already clocked 5 yearsrapapipaps wrote: ↑Fri Oct 05, 2018 6:24 amHi everyone. i just want to be sure before i apply for ILR. i was given a spouse visa on Aug 2013 and arrived in the UK same Aug 2013. and i already extended my spouse last on May 2016. when i had my extension they gave me spouse visa till Dec 2018 which exceed if you count it from Aug 2013. it will be 63months already. so my question is can i apply now for ILR? Because im already 5yrs in the UK since Aug. or do i have to wait for 28 days before my extension my visa expires which is dec 2018? please help.
It's a nornal 2.5 year visa plus 28 days sometines. Nothing to worry about. You could have applied for ILR already in july/August.rapapipaps wrote: ↑Fri Oct 05, 2018 6:47 amThanks for replying but im just a bit confused now about why they gave me visa untill december 2018 which exceed my 5 yr requirement? any idea?
