Change from Tier 1 dependant to Tier2 general

Post by Sanjeshsh » Fri Oct 05, 2018 5:51 pm

Hi
I am working in a company for 15 months on Tier 1 dependant can my company apply to sponser me as a Tier 2 General.
My job is in listed in RQF level 4 however my responsibilities are same as a similar role in RQF level 6
My annual salary is over £30k but lower than the required salary for the Role in RQF level 6
As I have already been in the same company for 15 months will they have to do a fresh RLMT before they can offer me Cos
My visa expires on 2 Dec

RLMT is required regardless if how long you have worked for them.

You can only be sponsored for a RQF level 6 job.

Your salary must be either £30,000 pa Or what the SOC states, whichever is HIGHER.

What is your job title and the level 4 SOC job and the similar SOC level 6?

You also have to apply from home country with a restricted Cos, and the CoS is part of the monthly allocation meeting on the 11th.

Thankyou for the prompt response and apologies for posting on wrong forum.

The RQF 6 1133 Purchasing manager
The RQF 4 3541 Buyer
Will it be a issue for the company to justify To My as I have been working in the Role for 15 months.

Thankyou for your help

Hi
My job reponsibilites are same as RQF level 6 but my Job title is buyer which essentially is listed in RQF level 4.
Can my sponsor apply for a Cos under RQF level 6

Also
As I have been working in the same role for 15 months now, will it be hard for my sponsor to justify outcome of RLMT.
I have been in UK for 2 year 4 months. This is my second job as a buyer in UK.
However I have 6 years of experience in purchasing.

Thankyou

Why not carry on with the visa you have?

Changing visa will reset your clock for ILR to zero.

They can apply for the CoS like that, no guarantee HO will approve it.

To be honest my partner missed the 90 days maintenance of funds deadline and by the time her Visa expires on 2 Dec it will not be 90 days.

She is 1 year short of of applying for ILR under long stay so if I could get my employer to sponsor me and my partner can be my dependent she would be able to switch to ILR with out much issues.

Thankyou

Is your employer n HO approved sponsor in the most current sponsor list?

If yes, are they an A rated sponsor or B rated sponsor?

You do realise you need maintenance funds for tier 2 as well.

Yes they are an A rated sponsor with more than 6000 employes in uk and if all goes well I think they should be able to cover my maintenance as well
