Where is the child, UK or abroad?

What is the current immigration status of the child?

On what basis did you get ILR, 10 years residence or 5 year PBS or spouse route?

Where is the other parent and what is their UK immigration status?

How old is the child??

The child is in America

No immigration status for the child as the child has just arrived in the UK on a USA passport.

ILR was received on 5 PBS

The other parent is in USA and holds a dependent VISA

the child is 3 months old

Is the other parent returning to the UK?

If yes, the child should apply for a visa in the same category as the US parent.

Why did you not apply for the visa before the child came to the UK??

Was the child stamped in as a visitor?

When is the other parent returning to the UK?

What category of dependent visa does the other parent hold (PBS dependent or spouse settlement visa)??

No immigration status for the child as the child has just arrived in the UK on a USA passport.
These are contradictory answers.

If child has just arrived in the UK on a USA passport, then child cannot be in America.

Is the other parent still a PBS dependant?

If the child entered the UK as a visitor, then 319H.(h)(i)(a) prevents child from switching to PBS dependant.
