Hi all,

I have requested for Detailed SAR last month. When I read the guidelines it was mentioned that would cost me £10. however, when I finished the application strangely it did not ask for any payment. It mentioned on the completed application then I don't need to pay for this request.

My concern is, I have not got any reply yet. Is something wrong with my application. If not whom should I contact to get the update?

Is it better to make a new application?

Hi Can you please tell me about SAR? are you asking HO ? and is this any benefit please confirm

Hi Hina
SAR is Subject Access Request.
Everyone has got a file in HO with every single detail from entery to Uk and every single decission making elemet regarding any elememnt of applicatio, you can even read about any caseworker remarks which were given at any stage of your application.
From SAR you can get all your documents you submitted to HO including copies of ypur application form etc
Its actuaaly a copy of your file with HO.

Hi Hina,

I have requested SAR because I wanted to get more information my initial application refusal(eg case worker remarks). it takes 40days and its free of cost. You need to apply online.

Hi Everyone,

I have seen policy guidance for tier 1 application has been updated however the application form has not changed. will there be anymore changes in application. I am concerned as I am applying in Mid of November.
