T2 Dep application- question

Post by anilisanil » Wed Oct 10, 2018 6:20 pm

I am applying for T2 Dep within UK.

Wife still awaiting her BRP (vignette valid until end of the month)

I am wondering if I can apply for my dependent visa based on vignette or wait until her BRP arrives?

With BRPs getting delayed so much, do not want to be in a hanging state.

Picking up Brp cards once arrived in the UK with the vignette are rarely delayed and available within 10 days of arrival at the Post office she nominated.

You should wait for the brp.

It's actually delayed. We should have had it by 3rd October. We raised the complaint online as per the process and received a reply that we should not "expect" the brp "before 19th." Not very confidence inducing answer.

I am to send my right to work documents before this month end and hoping that I will get an appointment at one of the priority processing centers. Hence wondering if BRP is required.
