Tier 2 general switch/renew in country

Hi
While switching employer (or renewing) tier 2 general visa within UK do we need to give biometric again?

If yes, if we apply using 10d priority then at what stage we have to give biometric (ie after how many days?)

Yes you have to enroll biometrics again.

If you apply online, you likely get to download the biometric letter and can enroll once you have it printed.
