British citizenship application PCN parking tickets

Post by Legia1916 » Tue Oct 16, 2018 10:26 pm

Hello everyone

i have been searching for some answers or advice on whether the PCN Penalty Charge Notice for parking is an offence and have to be enclosed in the application? my car was towed away in May 2017 for unpaid 3 or more parking tickets and as a result i had to pay back all the outstanding amount in order to release the car from the pound. Now everything been cleared off, zero outstanding tickets.

so once again, include this or ignore ??

Much Appreciated for any kind of responses

Just wanted to share my experience I applied for citizenship in April 2018 and received approval in October 2018.

I had around 15 unpaid PCN and the bailiff were nocking my door every morning and i didn’t pay them a penny and they had letter of county court taking control of good.

I applied for citizenship after these tickets and bailiffs and I didn’t tell them in the AN form. And I got aproval.

I didn’t declare any PCN. Bailiff court order is different then CCJ county court judgement.

So I hope you understood.

Did you declare it or not.

If you didn’t declare it. You must inform them as soon as possible otherwise they will ban you for ten years. Coz CCJ county court judgement comes up straight away.

You must write to them and declare any CCJ and make it clear to them by:

https://www.trustonline.org.uk/search-yourself

Check this and find out. It’s cost £10 and then send it to the caseworker if it’s paid.

Don’t worry about the arrest. It doesn’t effect your application at all.

If the police keep you in custody for 24 hours and don’t charge you. Means it will not effect your British citizenship application.

Relax and wait.
