Family visa extension

Post by Ana797 » Wed Oct 17, 2018 7:22 pm

Me and my wife applied for a spouse visa extension in July. During that time I submitted my income of £16500 combined with cash savings above £16000 which covered my threshold. As I have been employed less than 6 months I provided Home office with my previous 12 months of income prior to application which exceeded the £18600 but for some reason we have received a decision from home office stating as we have not met the financial requirements we have been given a 10 year family route instead of 5 year. I have disagreed and wrote a letter back to case worker to explain? But no response yet, has anyone experienced this or can advice? The home office call centre is absolutely useless no help whatsoever. To me it sounds like they overlooked all the evidence provided but if anyone can advice that would be great.
Thanks

How much was the saving you shown them and what was the total wages figures during the last 6 months?
