UK Visa delayed

Post by DeepshaAgrawal » Mon Oct 22, 2018 8:57 am

Hi Guys,
I submitted my application on a priority service to VFS in India. However, 4 days after the application submission I got an email from UKVI that an IHS payment is needed and my application has been deferred until then. I had paid the IHS though so I replied with my IHS payment receipt and IHS reference number email. Its been 3 working days since and I am still waiting.
Anyone else who had the same experience?
When can I expect my visa? I am really worried as I have a job start date and I applied on priority service for a reason.
Please help!

Did you pay the correct IHS in line with your CoS and visa application duration (you don't state what these are)??

And your CoS is for exactly 1 year and you applied for the 'up to 3 years' visa??

Did the email from HO state how much you had to pay?

Yes, my CoS is for exactly one year. The e-mail stated that I had topay 19870 INR and I paid exactly the same amount. Also, I applied from outside the UK so there is no way I can complete the application without paying IHS.
