Documents for Spouse visa extension

Post by ilrmumbai » Thu Oct 18, 2018 12:06 pm

Dear Gurus,

I have applied online for FLR(M) and daughters dependent visa. I am holder of ILR.

Their visa is expiring on 29 Oct 2018

Can someone please advise if the below list is looking good:

Application form printout
Declaration & Authorisation signed letters
Original Passports & Biometric cards for Both
Photo copies for my passport(Sponsor) all pages incl blank pages & copy of Biometric card
2 Passport photo for each
1 Passport photo of Sponsor
Photo Copy of my other child's passport( British)
Birth Certificate for Both child
We dont have birth certificates so I cant provide this
Marriage Certificate (Photo Copy) Original is back Home
English pass certificate CEFER level 2 (Trinity College London)
Sponsor Employment Contract
Employers Letter confirming my employment, salary, terms, length, address & payslips
6 months salary slips
6 months bank statement
Landlords letter (NO tenency agreement)
6 letters of wife & 6 for myself from past 2 years spread evenly. Not every month. But lots of letters & statements

We are going for Biometric soon. I guess we can do this in 15 working days.

Since I am not proviving Original Marriage Certificate is this a problem?

Kindly let me know if I am missing something

Best regards.

Can you get the marriage certificate posted to you in UK?

Make sure you photocopy everything beforehand

Hi Londoner,

If I get this posted it will take minimum 5 working days. Also there is s risk of getting lost in the post.

I have colour copy. Also I was thinking to write a small letter & attach that my original is back home.

Would this be a problem?

I don't know if it will be an issue it will depend on the person checking your application. I would recommend getting it sent over as your appointment is in 15 days time. You may need it anyway in future.

Up to you but I would not risk it.

visa is expiring on 29 Oct. I want to send the papers before that.

I guess they cannot just reject the application just because Marriage Certificate is a photo copy.

If it is sent tomorrow then I guess it will reach me by next week.

I have already applied online. I need to send the documents now.

Can anyone with this kind of situation please help?

Home Office address on employers letter

Post by ilrmumbai » Tue Oct 23, 2018 10:36 am

Dear Gurus,

I am applying for wife and daughters spouse and dependent visa extension. I took a letter from my employer with my employment details. I used the below Home Office address to make the letter in attention to:

Leave to Remain - FLR(M)
PO Box 495
Durham
DH99 1WR

This is on the paper form which I have realised is different from on the online application:

Family 2 & 5 Year Standard
PO Box 3468
Sheffield
S3 8WA

I have already submitted application online on 17 Oct. Their visa is expiring on 28 Oct. My HR manager in away on holiday until next week.

Its mentioned on the online application that I need to send the documents within 15 working days from the online submission date.

Is it OK to send the same letter since it is addressed to Home Office anyway or I need to amend the address.

I will have to wait until next monday to get this letter.

I am really panicking please help

Regards

Doesnt matter which address you use. The letter can just simply be addressed to: Home Office

Hi Londener,

I have already taken the letter addressed to Durham address but the address is different on online form.

Do you think this should be fine?
