Seconf Marriage of Sponsor

My friend got married to a British Citizen in India. She is living in UK and working full time.
Sponsor(wife) was previously married in 2001 and sponsored her previous husband as well .But her previous marriage didn't work out and she got a divorce in 2003.

She is not able to provide any documents for her previous relationship. She doesn't have her previous marriage certificate and divorce certificate at all.


My question is does the Home Office will have any information about her previous marriage( it has been more than 10 years) if yes then how can she get a copy of the divorce certificate.

is it necessary to disclose her previous marriage?

It needs to be declared and the divorce decree absolute must be submitted to prove she was free to marry the second spouse.

Nd yes, HO would have a record as she has sponsored a spouse before

Possibly from the people that issued the divorce certificate in the first place?
