In which country does your spouse live, and her age?

The timescales seem to differ depending upon the spouse's country. Certain countries and the spouse's age can lead to extra scrutiny. Just an observation.

Standard text for appeals, on what grounds was your spouse visa refused?
My comments do not constitute immigration advice, if in doubt consult an immigration adviser/solicitor

They sent you the wrong response. Try emailing again requesting clarification.

If you get nothing try and get your MP involved that sometimes helps getting a response.

On the positive side, numerous members have been successful with the intervention of the MP

I practically seen those ones who wasn't offered any help by MP and about which I already said above. Due to board t & c I cannot name those areas for example.

Spouse visa urgent help

Post by Adam2002 » Wed Oct 24, 2018 2:49 pm

My wife applied for a spouse visa on the 13th of February 2018 she got to refuse on the 27th of July 2018 for a silly reason I've appealed against the decision on the 29th of July 2018 money been taken out 2 Days Later received a court letter on the 10th of August 2018 stating 15 weeks notice for the Home Office to review it and the date is for the deadline is 21st of December 2018 I had requested for it to be expedited I was refused then I put second request for expediting it was successful on the 17th October 2018
Because my wife she is pregnant and her pregnancy is not going well because due to stress I got every letter from hospital sent to the court and I suffer with anxiety and depression I'm on the highest dose of anti depression tablet there's a reason that judge has accepted the expedited request
My question is how long do you think since expediting been accepted the judge will look at it because is a paper hearing and if anyone I had the case being expedited how long it took from that day to the decision day
The reason refusal as I am self-employed the Home Office said I didn't supply them with SA300 sa302 my UTR number does not exist and apparently I am not registered with the tax office
I did say them 21 pages of my tax year 2016 to 2017 sa100 102 101 3 and 300 302
I did call the tax office and they said I am 100% registered as a self-employed since 2015 and my UTR number it is a real one so the lady on the phone she said me a letter confirming everything
Even my accountant write them a letter confirming my details are correct and a printed for me another tax year calculation again 21 pages I have sent this evidence to the court when I have appealed
If anyone had same experience please advise me because I can't see my kids born back home without a father and let me know what's my options please especially about my expedite how long will it take from start to finish thank you

I dont think there is a set time for expedited hearings. It is up to the judge to decide if they can fit it into their schedule.

I've heard of one person having their date shorted by one month by having it expedited. But that was a oral hearing.

In your case, you havent yet been given a date yet so will have to wait. Decision can be overturned at review stage now or even the appeal withdrawn before a paper hearing.

If what you said is true in terms of the documents you have then you have a strong case for a overturn of decision.

I hope your your anxiety is under control in this stressful period.

If the documents are there, then the logical thing for the Entry Clearance Manager would be to overturn the decision and allow the visa.

I hope to read soon that your visa has been approved. Make sure you are looking after your health especially with the mental health medications, your spouse will come soon just hang in there!

All the best InshaAllah.

Dear mp

Thank you for your email correspondence of 11 October with enclosure on behalf of Mr ........, George Street, , about his wife, Ms partner visa application.

I can confirm that the self assessment tax document sent to us has been linked to the application.

Ms lodged an appeal against the refusal to the First-tier Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber (FTTIAC) under appeals reference HU/....... As explained in previous phone calls, we will carry out a further review of the case once the tribunal date is set.

Should Ms ...... have any further enquiries regarding the progress of her appeal, she can contact the FTTIAC quoting her appeals reference number. Contact details can be found on the Ministry of Justice website at: www.justice.gov.uk/contacts/hmcts/tribu ... ion-asylum
I am really getting worried because they're taking too long as my case is been expedited and the Home Office deadline is 21st of December
Has anyone got any idea if my kcase would be heard before the deadline for the home office to submit their bundle because of the being expedited and is he's a good email or a worrying email
Anyone had sent me Experience
