Tier 2 General ILR Eligibility

Hi, Can you please help me with the below query of mine?

I came to UK in Mar 2013 on Tier 2 ICT, my Tier 2 ICT visa was stamped in May 2010 so I was eligible for a change in employer.

I changed employer in July 2014 and the visa status was changed from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General. Since then I am in Tier 2 General category, albeit I changed employer again in Sept 2015 and that sponsorship is also in Tier 2 General category. Currently, I am in the same T2G visa with validity until Sept 2020.

In light of Home office changes made earlier (feb 2018) this year please can you advice me when I will be eligible to apply for ILR i.e. can I apply straightaway or I need to wait for 5-year completion in Tier 2 General category and have to wait till June 2019 to meet the ILR eligibility criteria.

Your expert advice will help me tremendously.

You need 5 years on tier 2 General.

Yes, within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of your first tier 2 General visa start date.
