Income from 2 souces- FLR M

Post by sheraz78 » Sat Oct 27, 2018 2:13 pm

This question is about one of my friends whose partner is applying for extension as dependent of settled person.
My friend is british citizen and working in two capacities 1) salary as security guard (2) self employed as minicab driver.
for the tax year ended 05 April 2018, his SE income was 13500 and p60 figure from security employment shows income of 11000. Both work continues todate.

Also the combined income from last 12 months from both sources is in excess of 21500

My question is since his partner need to show 18600 income, can he combine income from both sources i.e. from employment and self employment.
