Switching visa from tier 2 ict to tier 2 general

Hi,

I am working for MNC in India and my company sent me to UK to work in there client location from May 2017 to April 2018. Now same client(UK client) is ready to give job opportunity with visa sponsor so is it possible to change my visa to tier 2 general category.

My visa details

Visa type : Tier 2 ICT long term migrant
Valid from : May 2017
Expired on : October 2018.
Left UK on : April 2018
Sponsor name: current company UK branch details

Queries
1) I heard 12 months cooling off period apply to change visa type. So can I apply for tier 2 general after April 2019 ??can I travel to UK after April 2019?

2) if yes to above questions is it any other way to get visa before April 2019?

3)if I apply tier2 general then will I get 5 yrs validity from 2019 to 2024. ?
4) if I get the tier2 general then can I apply for ILR after 5 yr without any complications.

3. It depends how long you Cos is valid for. If it is 3 years you will get a 3 year visa etc.

4. If you meet the requirements after 5 years yes.
