I dont think your nationality will be revoked under the given circumstances. It has been done very very rarely under different circumstances. One of my friends had been in the same sort of situation and tried to revoke his ex-wife's ILR but he couldnt (shame on him). Even if the HO contact you (very unlikely) you have a strong case to be a British. Don't make the situation bother you, live your life!Lully500 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 9:49 amI am really pleased to find this forum. I wonder if you ca help me. I was married to my first husband in 1993. He left for Nigeria to look after his poorly father and never returned since then. I was later told he had died in a car crash in nigeria which helped me to move on with my life. In bliss ignorant without divorce or declaring been a widow I remarried in 1995 which lasted 16yrs with 2 children now 21 and 23 ys old. During financial procedings, my ex broughtup the case of bigamy against saying that he was not aware that I was married before and that the marriage is void because he did not want me to have a share in the two properties we both worked hard for.
The final hearing was yesterday and the judge declared the marriage null and void but I am to re apply for financial settlement based on the fact that we lived together as husband and wife
Since I got my indefinite stay through marriage wit him that enabled me obtained British natiinality,He now want to contact immigration to find out if I it can be revoked please help
