Spouse Visa Financial Requirement Calculation

Post by Nkma » Mon Nov 05, 2018 12:09 am

I will be submitting the spouse visa file in 2 weeks time. In theory i have evidence of all the uk visa and immigration requirements to call my husband, however reading your post Adriana Piedra im feeling a bit worried. I earn £18,600 before tax, NI and pension etc after all that i earn a monthly wage of £1,308.78 along those lines. Does that mean my husbands visa will be refused?
Im worried as i am pregnant and want him to come over asap.

If your gross wages (before tax & other deductions) is £18600 then you should be alright. But I will suggest to include a covering letter and highlight same again in additional info section that you are earning sufficiently.

Thanks for the reply seagul.
I do earn £18,600 before deductions i have already written a cover letter which mentions this as well as providing a letter from my employer to state my earnings before tax, the length of my employment how long i have been earning this amount and the position i hold.
I was just concerned and im wide awake now after reading that Adrianas husband earns £18, 700 and is still deducted less then me and their visa has been refused.
Ive worked really hard in getting my files ready without a solicitor whilst holding a full time job and im pregnant, so i will be in tears if it all doesnt go through lol.

Donot worry as you will be alright with covering letter. And also if you have some savings locally/abroad then may show these too along with £18600 for just incase.
