Questions about application for Tier 1 Visa

Hi everyone,

Please help me with the following inquiry.

My Tier 2 ICT will finish in a few months. I also want to come back to UK by Tier 1 Entrepreneur. 

Do you think that I should apply from my home country as soon as I leave UK or I can cool down a few months before I apply?
Is there anything like “time limit” from leaving Tier 2 visa to apply for Tier 1 Entrepreneurship visa from my home country?

What you intend to do is called switching from one immigration rule to another. It is allowed to switch from Tier 2 visa to Tier 1 Ent visa, however you need to have switched from Tier 2 visa to Tier 1 Ent visa route 28 days before expiration of your current visa for you to remain legally resident in UK. You can however go back to your home country and apply for Tier 1 visa immediately before expiration of allowable period of absence from UK for your continuous residency right to remain valid.

Does that mean that Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa is just for people who already have other types of visa in UK? 

If my current Tier 2 ICT visa expired, no way to apply for Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa? Then I have to rush from now.

You can apply at ANY time, within the UK or from abroad in a few months. There is no restriction.
