Tier 2 switching to Tier 1 50 K

All,
I'm currently on T2 General since Sep. 18, I think of switching to T1 Entrepreneur with the 50 K route, I understand that the 50 K should be from a venture capital firm registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), I can show that I have the 50 K in an account in HSBC UK, would that be appropriate? please advise.

You cannot use your own funds for 50k route as far as I am aware.
