If your child was born in the UK after you already held ILR, then the child is automatically British and can apply for a passport directly. This is regardless of whether you apply for British citizenship or not.Britney99 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 08, 2018 8:05 pmThanks for your comments. My child was born after I gained ILR . If could let me know if you think I should 1) apply for my baby’s citizenship under MN1 form; or 2) wait for me to become British citizen and British passport and then I can apply for baby’s British passport direct (and no need for MN1 form application ) ?
Many thanks, again
