Tier 2- Resignation

Post by tra007 » Sat Nov 24, 2018 8:26 pm

My Friend is in Tier2- ICT Dependent Visa. The company where he works is sponsoring Tier2 General. RMLT is completed and waiting for Rcos. After Rcos the employer will allocate COS for him. Then he has to travel back to home country to process the visa. Questions are
Does he have to resign the job? Is there any rule or policy? If so, which stage he has to resign.
He is under assumption no resignation is required.

Your quick response is really appreciated.

Thanks for your quick response.

He is about to resign as one of his friend, who got the tier-2 from the same company where he works for the same role. He got his visa when he traveled back to UK, He was challenged by immigration officer stating "company cant not sponsor for the existing employee and requested for resignation letter". He is waiting for decision. Advise what he has to to next.
