Hi i have joined a company recently on tier 2 visa but i no longer wish to work for that company as I did not like the environment there. Its been 2 months since i have joined that company and when i said i wanted to leave they were asking for 15000 pounds if I want to quit. I want to look for a new job, could anyone please guide me on how long i can stay in the uk after i quit from that job and my sponsor cancels my visa. Also is there any risk for me in doing so if they complaint to home office in this regard or will there be any problem for employment in future.

In the shared link i could not find any information about the length of stay in the uk after cancellation of tier 2 visa.
Please help.

If your sponsor notifies HO that you have left your job, this will trigger a curtailment of your visa to 60 days validity. The letter from HO can take a few weeks or a few months to get to you.

Your sponsor has to notify HO within 10 days AFTER your last date of employment.
