Change of sponsorship

Post by GTier2inuk » Sat Jan 26, 2019 8:28 am

Hi All,

I am waiting for my visa extension and eligible for ILR in Mar 2019, however my current employer reluctant to give absence letter, so I am very much frustrated, so I would like to move to another employer , ready to do sponsorship and I am in Tier 2 Gen visa from Feb 2014

My question is once I got the Visa extension, can I switch over to new sponsor ? Do I need to inform to my current employer or I can switch over once I got the CoS can i inform?

when the visa rules says 60 days gap for unemployment, in that scenario how to produce my last month pay slip while applying for ILR?

Please advise

There is no 60 days employment gap rule.

Even if you change sponsor, you still need the absence letter from all previous tier 2 employers.

You must be employed with a sponsor when you apply for ILR. You cannot be unemployed at this point.

Thanks CR001 for your prompt reply

If previous employer reluctant to give absence letter, what should be done in this case?

In 2018, I have taken 47 days (including weekends) and without Sat and Sunday, it should be 30 working days holiday in 2018 and rest of the years (2014 till now) its always less than 15 working days. In this scenario, does my previous employer should give absence letter if my holidays is less than 30 working days.

May I know pls how many pay slip required to submit for ILR. is it latest one month pay slip and one month bank statement? Pls advise.
