Questions on Documents Required for Tier 2 Dependent Visa

Hello!

My husband and I are in the process of gathering all required documents to apply for a Tier 2 (General) Dependent Visa.

I am currently in the UK and hold a Tier 2 (General) Visa while my husband is in our home country.

We have been reviewing official guides (listed at the bottom) as well as this forum to make sure we have the right documents, but unfortunately, there has been a lot of inconsistencies with regards to documents needed with the application.

So far, here is our list:

1. Dependent's Passport (Old and Most Recent)
2. Dependent's TB Certificate
3. Dependent's Criminal Record Certificate
4. Dependent's Visa Application Form (Including IHS Payment Receipt, Visa Payment Receipt)
5. Dependent's Passport-Size Photo
6. Tier 2 Holder's Passport Photocopy - (Does this need to be witnessed by a solicitor? Nowhere in the guides have I found information regarding this, I only came across it in one of the threads in this forum.)
7. Tier 2 Holder's BRP Card Photocopy (Just the same, does this need to be witnessed by a solicitor?)
8. Marriage Certificate
9. Proof of Relationship - Facebook messages, Call logs, Photos, Hotel Reservations - (Do the Facebook messages need to be translated into English? I am hoping not! Because there are years worth of messages!)

10. Tier 2 Holder's Certificate of Sponsorship (A-rated Sponsor)



We are unsure if we need to include these documents:

11. Letter of Employment (Does this mean Employment Contract? This is not on any of the guides, only found it listed here in the forum.)

12. 3 Months Payslips and 90 Days Bank Statements (The guide says, "If you apply separately from the main applicant you will need to have the necessary funds to meet the maintenance requirement or have a written undertaking from an A-rated Sponsor, unless the
main applicant already had leave in a Tier 2 category and when applying for their most recent period of Tier 2 leave was not required to show evidence of satisfying maintenance requirements." Based on my understanding, my dependent does not need to provide proof of funds because I, the main applicant, wasn't required to show such in my most recent period of Tier 2 leave because I have an A-rated sponsor. Can anyone confirm this please?)

13. Rental Agreement (Not in any of the guides, only listed in forum.)


Also, the address reflected on my husband's application, my most recent bank statements, and my
rental agreement is different from the address registered with the Home Office because I've moved out of my original address. Will this cause a problem with my husband's application? Has anyone here been religiously updating the Home Office of their new address every time they moved?

My apologies for all the questions. I am sincerely hoping I can get answers that will make things clearer. Your help will be much appreciated!
