Minimum Threshold salary for ILR

Post by meru16 » Fri Feb 01, 2019 6:57 am

I would appreciate if any one who has come across similar situation could help me with. I am on Tier2 general VISA and I will be eligible for ILR next year in Feb 2020. Minimum threshold salary mentioned on different forums in order for ILR is 36,200£.
I have two questions:
1) Is the minimum threshold salary that is considered by home office will be higher than specified in case main applicant has 3 dependants (spouse + 2 kids). If yes then how much it will be.

I found this link on home office site but it does not specify clearly.
https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk/y/y ... neral-visa Under Family members Dependants section there is a line mentioned which says: you have enough income to support yourselves and your dependants (It is not written in figures how much money will be required to support dependants).

2) Is this minimum threshold salary required in last 12 months in which I become eligible for ILR or last 3 months?

Thanks in advance

What is your SOC?

What is your current salary?

The requirement for ILR is a minimum if £35,800pa after 6 April 2019 or what is stated in your SOC, whichever is higher.

You need to be earning the salary at the time of ILR. Note that any sudden large increases shortly before applying for ILR is an instant red flag to HO.

It is irrelevant how many dependents you have.

Not sure where you got the £36,200.
