Is there any way to get an entry permit to the uk while applying for the spouse visa

Post by majusomu » Wed Feb 13, 2019 4:50 pm

Hello,

I am married to an uk citizen and we are wondering if there is any other possibility for me to enter England before getting approved the spouse visa or if the only way to apply for a spouse visa is to be out of the country until the situation is solved. (Getting approved the spouse visa)

I have been denied twice the tourist visa but we weren´t married then. We are not sure about applying for tourist spouse we don´t want any other complications to affect our status with immigration. Also we don´t want to spend money on two different visa applications.

We are currently doing long distance due to visa and my studies, but I will be finishing university at the end of December 2019. Does anyone have any recommendations for us? Is there any entry permit for a spouse visit if formally residing in Europe?

We would love to be together sooner than later. We appreciate any recommendations. Thank you!

You need the spouse visa in your passport before you can enter the UK.

Unlikely you will be successful with a visitor visa application due to the refusals you have already had as you won't be able to show strong ties to home country with a British spouse in the UK. UKVI might think you are trying to circumvent the immigration rules and won't leave the UK if you get a visitor visa (yes, many have tried to do this so HO is well aware of it).
