Convert from ICT Tier 2 to dependent General

Hello,

I am new here and have a question where I am seeking some advice, please. I am working in the UK for the past 2 years on an ICT Tier 2 Visa. My husband recently got his visa converted from being my dependent to a General visa (3 years and extendable). My current citizenship in India.

My question is whether it is advisable to convert from my ICT Tier 2 visa to a General dependent of my Husband keeping long term prospects of an ILR in future. I am a bit sceptical about the new rules that might come up along with the Brexit as it could be unfriendly for immigration.
Appreciate any help from the forum moderators or legal/immigration experts.

Your choice if you wish to switch to Tier 2 dependent visa. ICT does not lead to ILR based on 5 years residence anyway.

Brexit affects EU citizens, not UK Immigration rule migrants!!
