Need to show cash savings for an ILR application?

Hi , first time poster so apologies if this is in the wrong place but my husband will shortly be applying for ILR and we have everything in order but I'm concerned about the cash savings elements.

Does this need to be shown? We have payslips and bank statements to confirm salary and additional paperwork confirming shares & investments - will this be sufficient or do we need to show a certain amount of cash savings too?

As his situation is straight forward we are applying ourselves and not going via a solicitor.

You need EITHER salary OR savings to meet the financial requirement. You don't need both if the salary meets the required level (joint or individual salaries).
