Hello everyone,
Basically my Russian partner applied for a 6 month family visit visa 2 weeks ago.
We were married in Moscow in February this year and she previously had a UK tourist visa which recently expired at the start of June, she only spent 3 separate weeks out of the 6 months here.
We recently applied for a family visit visa where she stated visiting me as her main purpose of visit and provided all documents on the checklist. She is a university lecturer and provided evidence of this, and that she is visiting for 2 months over summer whilst on summer vacation from work.
We did not provide our marriage certificate as documentation or copies of my ID as they did not request this on the checklist, but after reading online I am wondering should we have infact provided this ? and is this likely to lead to a rejection ?
I am not sponsoring my partner so did not provide a letter of invitation as she has shown evidence of her job and bank statements to show she has £2000 to cover her visit, we just stated my name and my address where she will be staying and also stated that she owns her own apartment back in Moscow.
Any reassurance would be greatly appreciated!
