Inquiry about Acknowledgement letter

Post by Striker007 » Tue Jul 02, 2019 5:57 pm

Hi All,

I have applied my ILR (Tier 1, 50k- 5 years route) in end of April. I have recieved acknowledgement letter in May but Not in June.

So my question is, this is a normal thing(procedure) if they miss out monthly Act email ??

Also if my father wants to apply for visit visa, do it effect on my application? Or it will effect on his application as he will mention purpose of travel & my visa application still under process ?

Kindly advise please .
Many thanks.

You don't get one at every step or every month.

Thanks a lot CR001 for your quick response. Also if u can advise me about my father's visit visa situation?
Can he apply his visit visa regardless of my visa status ? Or it will effect on my application ?

Kind regards.

You should ask visitor visa questions in the general immigration sub forum and not in the ilr sub forum please

You do not necessarily receive automated emails every month. Some receive it, some don't. I did not receive any at all.
I applied for my father’s tourist visa renewal while my extension was pending. There was no issue. But my father has a strong travel history to UK for the last 45 years so renewal was easy.
But I don't think it will impact your father’s application anyways.
