Tier 2 dependent extension while main spouse is on ilr

Hello everyone, i have couple of questions hope i can get some suggestions.

1 - i am on tier 2 with 5 years visa , my wife and son came 3 months after me, so they get visa for 4 years and 8 months, it means i can apply for ilr 28 fays before completing 5 years, so below are questions regarding depnednets:

1- when i should chnage my dependnets visa to pbs depenedent extension? After getting my ilr?

2- what is the minimum extension period? As we want only 3 months more to complete their 5 years for ilr.

3- when my dependents apply for pbs extension while im on ilr, i hope their previous 4 years and 8 months will not reset?

4- usualy how much time they take to give extension as if i apply for ilr 28 days before woth one day service, then my dependents will.only have 27 days to apply and get the extension.

There couple of more questions, but if i get clarity abouy theae points, then i can ask some later on.

Ideally yes.

It will be a 3 year extension.

3- when my dependents apply for pbs extension while im on ilr, i hope their previous 4 years and 8 months will not reset?

No it doesn't. It only resets if they switch visa category to FLR(M).

4- usualy how much time they take to give extension as if i apply for ilr 28 days before woth one day service, then my dependents will.only have 27 days to apply and get the extension.

It depends what service you choose.

Don't forget you also need £630 for each dependent maintenance funds held for a minimum of 90 days.
